We can only pay attention to so many things at one time, and each promise, agreement or item on your to-do list leaves fewer attention units( deja meno unidades de atencion ) to dedicate to completing present task.

Achievers are committed to continual improvement. If you want to be more successful, you need to learn to ask yourself, ” How can I make this better?, How can I do it more efficiently?, How can I do it more profitably?, How can we do this with greater love?
Improving is therefore ( por lo tanto) necessary simply to survive, But to thrive ( prosperar), as successful people do, a more dedicate aproach to improvement (la mejora) is required.

Once you begin to take action, you will start getting feedback whether you are doing the right thing. ONce you receive feedback, you have to be willing to respond to it.
There are two kinds of feedback: positive and negative. To reach ( alcanzar) your goals more quickly you need to welcome, receive and embrace (aceptar) all the feedback that comes your way.
All we have to do is to start to take action and then respond to the feedback. If we do that diligently enough and long enough, we will eventually get to our goals and achieve our dreams.
There are many ways you can respond the feedback, some responses simply don’t work: Caving in and quitting ( ceder y dejarlo), getting mad ( enojarse) at the source of the feedback, ignoring the feedback. Remember that feedback is simply information, you don’t have to take it personally. Just welcome it and use it.
Ask for feedback: you cannot improve ( mejorar) your live, your relationships, your game or your performance ( actuacion) without feedback.
WHAT TO DO WHEN THE FEEDBACK TELLS YOU YOU HAVE FAILED:
acknowledge ( reconocer) you did your best. Ackowledge that you survived and that you can absolutely cope with ( hacer frente) any and all of the consequences or results.
Write down everything you learned from the experiences. Make sure to thank everyone for their feedback and their insights ( comentarios). Clean up any messes (lios) that have been created and deliver any comunication that are necessary to complete the experience- incluiding any apologies ( disculpa). DO NOT TRAY TO HIDE ( esconder) THE FAILURE.
Take time to go back and review your successes ( exitos) . IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMIND YOURSELF THAT YOU HAVE HAD MANY MORE SUCCESSES THAN YOU HAVE FAILURES.
Regroup. Spend some time with positive loving friends family and coworkers who can reaffirm your worth and your contribution ( aportacion) .
Refocus on your vision , incorporate the lesson learned, recommit ( renovar) your original plan or create a new plan of action, and then go on with it.
STAY IN THE GAME- keep moving toward the fulfillment ( cumplimiento) of your dreams.

Asking is in my opinion the world´s most powerful and neglected ( descuidado) secret to happiness.
If you are not afraid to ask anybody for anything, then skip over( saltar ) this chapter, but if you are like most people , you may be holding yourself back ( estar frenando)by not asking
WHY THE PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO ASK? They are afraid of manythings such as looking needy(necesitado), looking foolish(loco), and looking stupid, but mostly they are afraid of experiencing reyection. They are afraid of hearing(escuchar) the word NO. The sad thin is that they are actually rejection themselves in advance(por adelantado). They are saying no to themselves before anyone else even has a chance to.
Dont assume that you are going to get a NO, take risk to ask for whatever you need and want. If they say no , you are no worse off than when you started. If they say YES are a lot better off.
Just by being willing(estar dispuesto) to ask, you can get a raise, a donation,etc.
HOW TO ASK FOR WHAT YOU WANT?
1- Ask as if you expect to get it - ask with a positive expectation
2- Assume you can – Don´t star with the assumption that you cant get it
3- Ask somenoe who can give it to you ( pidelo a alguien que tiene poder para dartelo)
4- Be clear and specific – Don´t say: I want a raise, Do say: i want a raise of 500.€
5- ASk repeatedly – one of the most important principles of succes is persitence, not giving up
YOU MAY HAVE THE CAPACITY , but you also have to have the tenacity (tenacidad) to be succesfull. You have to ask , ask, ask, ask………. Ask and it shall be given to you. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain (ganar) by asking.
To be successful, you have to take risk , and one of risk is the willingness (disposicion) to risk rejection(rechazo)

Os pongo en situacion: creo que es despues de la primera guerra mundial. En una ciudad la situacion economica es deprimida y para lanzar la economia deciden organizar un torneo de golf con 2 figuras mundiales y una estrella local fracasada- Junna- . En todo este jaleo aparece will smith (bagger vance) y se convierte en un caddie muy especial que consigue recuperar al borracho golfista. Deciros que la banda sonora es de RACHEL PORTMAN. En algunos clips si cerrais los ojos sentireis flotar y alcanzar el cielo casi sin daros cuenta. IMPRESIONANTE……….

Most people let (permiten) fear stop them from taking the necesary steps to achieve their dreams. Succesful people on the other hand, feel the fear along with (junto con) the rest of us but don´t let it keep them form doing anything they want to do. They have learned to feel the fear and do it anyway.
You have to be willing to feel the fear. Some people will do anything to avoid (evitar) the uncomfortable feeling o fear. If you are one of those people, you run on even bigger risk of never getting what you want in life.
Most of the most stuff (cosas) requiere taking a risk (riesgo). And the nature of a risk is that it doesn´t always work out (funcionan). People do lose their investiment, could die in accidents, etc, but NOTHING VENTURED, NOTHING GAINED.( nada jugado, nada ganado)
FANTASIZED EXPERIENCES APPEARING REAL ( experiencias irreales que parecen reales) we frighten ourselves (nos asustamos) by fantasizing negative outcome (resultados) to any activity we might pursue or experience.
We can stop the fear and bring ourselves into a state of clarity and peace by facing the actual facts, rather than giving in to our imaginations.
Psycologist like to say that fear means- FANTASIZED EXPERIENCE APPEARING REAL.
How to get rid of fear ( como desahacerse del miedo): I have lived a long life and had many trouble, most of wich never happened -MARK TWAIN
On way to actualy disappear your fear is to ask yourself what you are imagining that is scary to you and then replace that image with its positive opposite.
Replace the physical sensation fear bring, remember when you triumphed in the face of fear.
Scale down the risk : If a fear is so big that it paralyzes you. Scale down the amount of risk, take on smaller challenge and work your way up.
TAKE A LEAP ( de un salto): All the succesful people I know have been willing to take a chance (correr el riesgo) – a leap of faith, even though they were afraid. Taking a leap can transform your life, oh what the heck( que diablos) – just go for it .
Do you want to be safe and good or do you want to take a chance an be great?.
Living at risk is jumping off the cliff( saltar al precipicio) and building your wings(alas), on the way down.
BE WILLING TO PUT IT ALL ON THE LINE ( ponerlo todo en la pista) FOR YOUR DREAM:
only those who dare ( atreverse) to fail greatly( al fracaso) can ever achieve greatly.
The challenge: If you want to achieve a high goal, you are going to have to take some chances.
